Need some 3" aluminium tube (thin wall), anyone know somewhere to get it for a reasonable price? Preferably not too far from Welshpool?

First thought that comes to mind is Air Intake Tubing.

You could try Engine Protection in Myaree, Sorry don't know anyone here in Welshpool.

We may have it in 5" dia but only in 3mtr lengths.

Thanks Phil - will try them - Apparently the only place to get tubing/connectors for reasonable prices is there as well.

Look for a Donaldson/Duralife dealer. They should have tubing and a range of connectors.

Don't let the NSA hear you looking for aluminium tubing - they'll think you are trying to enrich plutonium! :D:D:D:D

How thins thin?

One Steel in bibra lake have 76.2 diameter * 2.65mm wall thickness but only in 5.5m lengths. Its 6060 T5 grade. Material Number is 126806.

As for price I'm not sure but they are quite helpful when I rang them up over what they've got etc, so I'm sure a price would be easy to get out of them. Phone number is 9434 1688
