Geeezzzz:twisted: I get sick and tired of this "unique number" crap.:twisted:

Saw several Defenders at Cooma that put the Raw thing to shame;)

why to these landrover promos always feature how well the defender goes on bitumen roads. I would have thought some G4 footage would be better.

It makes me wonder what the designers are thinking about when their badges are more prominently placed than those of Land Rover.

They need a hard core limited edition of the Defender..
One with lockers, barwork, mud tyres, low range transfer gears etc..
Then they might have something to market......
Instead of a shopping trolly.....

Explain to me why I like Defenders so much when I think they are pretty impractical vehicles and not as good as Discos?

I didnt know there was one in a mates rover whose front diff I was changing and at that time I wasnt aware that you could get 4.11 (or 4.1) for the sals, I changed the front diff only to find that when low range was engaged the vehicle didnt want to play till it was on gravel or sand.

I figured that it was on 3.54's instead of 4.7's and that didnt work either....

the old count the turns trick was done and came out at about 4.1... I knew you could get them for the rover diff from a couple of places (tim of landrovers only fame made me aware of them) and at that time people had heard of the 4.1 for the sals but no-one had one.
