VicRoads fee increases 2008/09FY

I got a letter from Vic Roads regarding registration inter alia and the annual cost for Melbourne metro is going to rise from $575 or whatever it was to $593.00. I swear my 2005 registration was sub $500!

What does it cost in your State?

I also recently read about Dick Smith's recent threat to become "Australia's biggest legal tax evader", what an inspiration:D.

Yearly registration over here is just on NZ$180 a year for a petrol vehicle, and just on NZ$300 a year for a diesel.;)
