Hi Steve,

Also called Poly Rib belts, if that 1606 is the length (1606mm), the Dayco part no would be 6PK1606. From memory that could also be the Gates metric No.

Try Rydell Industries for Gates or PT Australia in Welshpool for Dayco.

If you get stuck, give me a yell.

Thanks to you too Phil... i'll give you a yell if i get stuck..

the belt is 21 inches (533mm) long so dont know what relavence the 1606 has.. neither the J9 as that would suggest 9 ribs when it only has 6 so im guessing its a cut down belt! i'll give the people you suggest a call and go from there!

Thanks

Steve

It's a 210J x 6 ribs
J stands for the depth of the rid J=4.8mm or 3/16
210 means 21 inches long (La) or outside length
6 ribs in a J section should be around 14.3mm wide

No stock in Australia sounds about right for that belt I used to work for SKF and now work for Motion Industries here in Rocky made a few calls aswel with no luck we stock only the 200J and 220J too. Would it be possible to use the longer one and put a bearing on the back of it as a tensioner.

not an option as its directly between pulleys on a treadmill.. i dont even think there is that much adjustment..

i know i saw one last night.. in australia.. but i'll be buggered if i can find it again!

thanks for trying tho... :D
