Good evening all.

I'm in the middle of doing a whole swag of work at the moment on an LT77 and LT230, and I'm in need of some parts not available here. Mostly shims and so on for measuring and setting up various things.

I've been dealing with Karcraft and they have been VERY good to work with, but there are some things that they don't have at the moment and can't get for a while.

I've called some Land Rover dealers but that's next to useless. Called regarding a nut - the spares guy's first comment when he looked them up was "geez... they're expensive, and I don't have any anyway".

Who has dealt with UK suppliers for local delivery here, who was good, who was not, and what sort of time frame did you have for delivery?

Thanks in advance!

John Craddock, (http://www.johncraddockltd.co.uk/) Dunsfold's (http://www.dunsfold.com/) and P.A. Blanchard's (https://secure.pablanchard.co.uk/default.asp) have shipped without problem.

LRSOC (http://www.lrsoc.demon.co.uk/html/clubshop1.html) and the 48-53 Land Rover Register (http://www.landrover-register1948-53.org.uk/) can be slow and the last 2 are not for your model.

Aschcroft's (http://www.ashcroft-transmissions.co.uk/) apparently do but I have never dealt with them, although for LR transmissions they are the best.
