Can't make it on Monday Lou but I'm sure I have some old Trip Notes for the run from Ben Bullen via Baal Bone Gap, the Wolgan Valley Rim, Blackfellows Hand Cave and back to Clarance (Zig Zag Railway) which you are welcome to if they are any help.
It's a nice days run with some nice views and a little bit of easy 4WDing.
Drop me a PM if You'd like them.

Wish I could say I know the way but not sure I can remember any of it any more, it has been to many years. Pity, 'cause I'm off too I think.

Seriously - I'd suggest visiting the glowworm tunnel, and there should be a track down to the valley nearby - Ace and others in the area know more. There is some interesting driving in the areabetween the tunnel and zig zag. At Newnes itself, it will be a case of a bit of walking around. (Nat Park). After I dig out my laptop, I'll send some oziexplorer track info from the last time I was up that way.

Thanks DB. I was going to get my disco in to Gordon and have a few things done before I do any more trips but I 'spose one last run before it is fixed. I am in Sydney for that w/e so I'll just make sure I'll be back in time. Let me know what time you think you will be setting off and I'll see if I can get there.

This sounds good. I'm free for the next 5 Mondays :).
Drive along Blackfellows Hand to Beecroft or Angus Place trails and down to Wolgan Rd then onto Newnes.

Just found out I might not be able to due to partner having an appointment and dogs being alone to long with no dog door yet... But now a good group is building and I really want too. I'll have to play it by ear but am keen.

Sounds like there are too many Sydney people who don't work enough!
Will my Michelin Synchromes be O.K. to come along or do I need some Big Friendly Giants?

...:p
I had my Ron glasses on (apologies Ron) and wasn't sure if "nothing to hardcore" meant between nothing and hard core! :( Or it meant nothing too hard core! ;)
Having seen your car last night, I didn't know if my relatively stock Rangie classic with 90% on-road tyres (and sorry no skateboards) would cut it on a "too hardcore" day out .
Do I need to go down the coast and play with spanners and my S2Bs or not????? Would give me time to do some house chores and other Sydney committments over the W/E.
Very tempting! :) :) :)

I can't drive so I'd need to go as a passenger - if my wife would let me.
