Saw a 94 TDI 5 speed in a car yard. Has done 212,000 km one owner for $9,900. Very good nic.
Are their any common problems with this model.
How strong are the 5 speed boxes on these>

Sounds like a good price, timing belt is the only major issue. Make sure its been changed. I would like to think its been changed twice at those kms.
Where abouts are you located. Someone from here could undoubtedly check it out for you if you want.

Do you know if it's a 200 or 300Tdi ? LR made the transistion in 94.
The 5sp in the 300 is stronger.

Is reverse near first if it is its a LT77 . If reverse is down from 5th gear its a r380 gearbox a better box in my opinion:cool:

I have that year truck. Not sure if I agree the price is good. Mine has SRS air bags but I'm not sure if I'd of gone them given the choice. look in our classifieds on Aulro there may be a better one cheaper.
