Is it worth the trip?

My brothers mate rolled his TD5 Defender 500kms east of Kalgoolie. The insurance company said was uneconomical to recover and repair (caved in roof only).
He has GPS co-ords and I was thinking if it would be worth the trip or in two weeks would someone have torched it?

:(:(MateI recon It's worth the trip, I hate to see a good fender go to waist. Better get there soon though as it's probably not torched but will be missing plenty, and the recovery wont be worth much if you just get the frame back. Go get her I say.

If it's just the roof why didnt he roll her over and climb back on??? Takes more than a roll to subdue a good fender and how the hell did he get home.?
