Anybody driven Cattlewater pass in the territory? I'm heading west in August and I'd like to go via the Plenty highway, then drop down to Arltunga and Ross River using Cattlewater Pass. How's the camping on the track? Any really nice places to stop?

Yes, I drove it in Sept '07, northbound. Easy, nothing remotely difficult, but quite a pleasant drive. Towed a Jayco Hawk Outback along it with no problem at all. We didn't stop, but there looked like a few places, not many though so I wouldn't count on it.
