We are off to Gapuwiyak and then on to Garma at Gove again in a couple of weeks. Going via inland Qld - will have a silver Defender instead of the D2 this time. We will watch out and wave to Wover. We will be towing our boat again. Have a safe trip and take LOTS of warm clothes. Cheers, Erich.

Hi Derek,
Our daughter is living in Gapuwiyak now so we will be off to a lot of remote areas. We plan to be in Gove around Thursday 7th August. We are mixed up with the Youth Forum again. We would love to catch up if possible, maybe at the Arnhem club?? We will look you up. Cheers, Erich.

Have been out camping with our Adventure Offroad each of the last two weeks Derek. First week at the Giddy and this week at Memorial for 3 days. Great way to relax and undertake the necessary consultation process for the ECU upgrade!

By the time Wover brings you safely home I'll have worked how to reply with a quote! Cheers for the trip.

Not sure if I'm at Garma this year Erich but will keep an eye open for the Defender when you're in town.

Stuuu get the intercooler as well as the ECU reflash. Brilliant!! Wish I'd done the intercooler earlier. Easy to install, give me a yell when I'm back in August.

.... and if I'm not mistaken that photo was used in a "spot the differences" thread some time back.

How's that for recall

Shame I can't remember anything else.

Safe journey !

Dave

Any luck and it'll be here for you to help me with - unless you are putting the Kimberley to good use. Which model?

Haven't heard from you two for a while. Yes, we're off to see our daughter and family in Gapuwiyak, and hopefully to enjoy the unbelievable fishing/crabbing/learning experience we have been lucky enough to experience in the past. Then off to help with the Youth Forum at the Garma Festival, which we have been enjoying for the past 2 years.
Not exactly sure when we're heading off but it will be in the next couple of weeks. Just checking over the boat trailer in readiness for the rough old tracks.
Are you planning any excursions in the near future?
Cheers, Erich

Thanks, it will be nice meet you. Maybe with Derek??
There are some beautiful spots around your part of the world, Memorial Park would be close to the top of our list of relaxing places to go for a few days. We have been there many times over the past 19 years.
This will be our 3rd year at Garma and we do enjoy the Youth Forum. It's also a great opportunity to catch up with friends we only see once a year.
Take care and hopefully will see you in August.
Cheers, Erich

Look forward to catching up with you - when in town look for the dark green D2.

Cheers.
