Haven't visited there for a while, but I'm registered with them (same username), unfortunately until the minister for finance and recreation says ok, I can't get any r/c toys:(

I've got a box full of bits and pieces I've been meaning to put on eBay.

I had a (Tamiya) Subaru Brat, FAV, Super Champ and Hornet. I've still got a Marui Hunter which has never been driven. I always wanted a tank though.

They're re-releasing some of the Tamiya stuff now....but SWMBO has the final say:(

Closer or closet??

I still have my Tamiya Blazing Blazer 4WD (with 3-speed remote controlled gearbox and front locking hubs).

I've still got my multitude of RC helicopters which are my first love.

Actually HPI sell a D90 body, i've been contemplating getting one3 for my e-savage, but it's about $50 and I just got a painted venom body that fits for $30 on sale the other day.

I did mean closet Ron, but I was typing too fast and making mistakes!

I have a fleet of RC cars, have been into the hobby for 14years. Im also into rc rock crawling. My NN11 Chassied Clod axled crawler is one of my fav's. Gets well over 1/2hr's runtime out of one 4200mah pack. Has a jeep strangler body as i didnt have an L/Rovers when i built it and the HPI D90 body wasn't released yet.

Haha, I don't have any pictures of the 90 body and the the rangie bodies are still unpainted.

Nice collection you have there Lucus.
Don't know if you know about it yet but there is an Australian crawling forum
the crawl pit (http://www.thecrawlpit.com) is the address.

I started with nitro rc boats then got into battery rc race cars then nitro planes then gave it away although I still have two planes. I got a Tamiya buggy in the eighties.

Sorry for the dull pic, no flash.
I've done nothing since until this year when I bought a battery helicopter, a Honey bee king 2 with belt driver tail rotor. It's a beast to fly but I'll get there. I mainly wanted it because I'm into Mechanical models and it is quite complex and fascinating to see how it works. It has been shelved for the moment though because I've wanted to build my own RC 4wd for years and thanks to a post someone made a few months ago of a bloke building a scale 90 I got onto the right track to do one of my own and I have the same body he had.
I'm trying to make it as true to Land Rover design but it is difficult and I have to make concessions to market availability.

I used to be, I first started with 1/8 gas but that was in the 70's. I raced 1/10 off road at Knox years and years ago. Then I went and raced 1/10 and 1/12 at Ringwood in the old Target carpark.
Recently I aquired an old AYK, Maurui big bear and some old Tamiya dunger
I still feel the need though :D

i'm a tragic!

I actually started out with bit char-g's - you know those tiny matchbox-sized cartoony looking things? yup, well i got my start with RC addiction at bitPimps Custom Modifications :: Doin' It To Your Momma's Chassis! (http://www.bitpimps.lixlink.com) modifying the tiny little suckers and making things like this..

then, as with all gateway drugs, I found myself wanting a bigger hit.
I went up to a minizilla with brushless and lipo (i still have, and love, this thing! imagine a half-size e-savage that does the same speed as a maxed out real one!),
then a kyosho inferno nitro buggy, which i sold pretty quickly.
Now i have an axial ax-10 scorpion for playing on the rocks, and a cheap clone baja 5b for playing in the sand. :)

And the little suckers still get a workout too :D
