Another 30 minutes remain before I call off the day for this boring working saturday. Think of sharing my lately finished project 'Dash Board' with every body.

As usual it started from scatch book. (actually from the head inside) :-

Nice! What sort of plastic did you use?

Where are you located - you have a RHD vehicle but your spelling of "fiber" was not a British spelling. :)

Also tells us more (with pics) about the North Pole expedition shown on the notebook. :):)

Judging by the colour of the grass, the style of tiling and the sink photo, as well as the font of handwriting on the dash piece and the decor in the last photo, I'd say he is in Malaysia or Singapore.

hahaha.. looks like no place for me to hide any more. next time should hide out all the back ground and hand writing.. yes. I'm Malaysian Chinese, current QTH (location) in Seremban 40 minutes south from Kuala Lumpur.

For South & north pole expedition, it just a note book bought during some promotion of the expedition. About the material, I have to ask around the actual name of it. I bought it in bulk from some junk yard. Anyway it is hard enough to stay in shape and soft enough to cut with jigsaw with a good finishing.

Too many detectives on this forum! :D

Another giveaway was the orientation of the switches - down for on.

??? I always fit aftermarket switches with down as on, what is unusual about that?

Most places in the Americas have up for on - as do places influenced by the US. I noticed my villa in Saudia Arabia had up for on, too.

Down for on indicates British influence (dunno about Europe as I have never been there).

Just wonder if the position of the switches have something to do with the south or north hemisphere?
USA got them up
Ozitralia down

Then again, my theory can be based in tonight glass or two of brandy  :D

I thought you guys did that just to confuse me when I visit..

When I helped an Australian friend (stranded in the US for a while) build a truck for the OBC he insisted on down for on, I figured it was just the beer we consumed while discussing the truck.

That would look pretty flash in clear perspex with a Land Rover emblem etched into it and a few LED bulbs strategically placed.

Why then are the Carling switches sold by MUDStuff opposite to the Carling Switches used by ARB ?

hi there..

finally completed another 3 units of dash board (center console) for my friend down south and another 1 in the arm force. To produce same thing in big quantity is really a challenge for me especially when you are sending 2 units to a same buyer. They have to be identical when we look at it side by side. Anyhow I had tried my best to make them as similar as possible.. Here they are :-
