Just bought a Faultmate MSV to cover both the D3 and RR Classic....... it's going to be some steep learning curve:eek::eek::eek::eek:

I've also got one, Richard. If you've got problems I may be able to help.

Thanks Ron, I haven't used it on the Classic yet, maybe this weekend.
My observations on the D3 are:
There is no writing that I can see as yet apart from some simple tasks to the SII settings, the D3 looks like read and clear faults only with the ability to save the fault data for investigation. I guess the writing to change settings will come later as they further develop the VE software. I have as yet to really understand it so I am sure there are other attributes that I will discover.
As for the Classic I am looking forward to exploring it's system as I believe there is a lot more scope.

I didn't realise it worked on a Classic.

Hello Richard, I've got SV for the D3 but at this stage it can only clear faults when the D3's computer let's it (which isn't all that often!).
It's getting better, but the software is still a long way off.

Hi Jamo,
I've cleared all my faults, and the relevant UCU's have remained clear except one, I think it's the body control and that faults various operations while the ignition is on during use of the MSV, i.e. sliding sun roof not operational etc..........I have no sunroof!!
I hope the software updates come fast!!
Did you get your shocks?
