OK guys I'm after a little help.. at finding a treadmill!

i have out of madness and constant nagging by Rach (dont do scratches) decided to do the city to surf run, and no not the 4km one the 12km one.

i haven't run for about 25 years, but have done lots of cycling which is about as helpful as a chocolate fire guard for running. I decided this about 5 weeks ago and have 7 weeks on Sunday to finish my training! so far i have done 5 x 7.5km runs (3 of which i have completed no walking, 1 with about 30% walking and the other 1 with minor walks half way) lots of cross trainer work and am trying like mad to shed weight (i started at 106.5kg) to save my knees the embarrassment of falling off my legs.

anyway Rach has been running for about 3 years and can do the 12k's with no hassle (she weighs less than 1/2 of what i do!) and does most running on her treadmill, which i thought i could use. wrong! the running belt slips and when i tightened it i ended up partially shredding the motor drive belt. I'm just too damn heavy for it!

soooo... I'm looking for another treadmill capable of hefting me along at upto 15km/h (maybe faster) with a powered incline. i have been watching on ebay and there are some nice spec machines for reasonable money with BIG decks too.

my main question is does anyone know of a reputable 2nd hand fitness equipment dealer that may be selling semi commercial treadmills at the 'right price' (remember I'm a cheap ass) or if anyone on here is selling one... well im listening :)

thanks in advance as usual

Steve

i guess that all depends on how much it weighs and how much i could get shipping for :) the ones i have looked at on ebay seem to ship for about $140 but im guessing they have a special deal.. im sure just for the average joe like me it will be far more! :)

thanks anyway... what treadmill is it by the way?
