I can't get it out of my mind!
I go to bed at night thinking about it...
I wake up in the morning yearning for it...
I dream about it all day at work...
I look up pictures of it on the internet...
I want to strip one and tinker inside...
I want to take one home...
I wish I could get inside one...
I need to have it...
I think I want... nay - NEED an Isuzu County...

No - I'm telling you this because I wan't to know that I'm not!
There is a serious side to this. I'm not kidding - I have officially decided as of today that by the end of 2009 I want to own an Isuzu County. I nearly bought 110county's when he sold it, but I couldn't afford it. Ever since I have had this overwhelming sense that I really missed out. :(
They don't come up very often because understandably their owners hang on to them come hell or high water.
I plan to be able to buy one by early next year, but I am willing to watch and wait for as long as it takes to get one that is just right.
Until I have one I will have to live vicariously through you lucky individuals. In the mean time, could you all keep your eyes peeled for me?

I understand what you mean. When ever I sit here on this site or watching tv I always think about it. I don't want to get rid of the D1 though so I can't really have 4 vehicles just for me. But I often think once I get handy with a spanner that I'd like one.
I decided once I move to the bush in 5 odd years I'll sell the d1 and have a 2a for farm use and an isuzu county for travel.
I often think about how stupid I was for going the D1 as I wanted a county but realistically the D1 suits me....for now!

P.s. I would however consider the v8 after driving one recently. But with a view of changing it to a isuzu down the track.

And you think YOU have it bad!!!
I got sick of dreaming about it and cut my Rangie up to make it as County-Isuzu as I could:eek:
And the sickness is spreading; Look what happened to Matt Rovercare after he drove mine...:o
I Love my Rangie.:D

*glares* find your own!
I intend to!
It doesn't help extra eyes and ears on the ground though. Indeed, OLR found his through Dinty.
Sharing is caring Master Sprint. ;)

Ive decided that Im getting posted to a unit that isnt tight arsed in the parts supply section then Im going to order one in, one part at a time... and no obvoius stuff like just ordering in the complete major assemblies, just one part at a time..
a chassis, a block, one piston, the rings, a gudgen pin, a rod............................................... .................................................. .................................................. ..................................
It'll be a long slow process but I'll have the best damned it never existed 110 Perentie FFRSFGSLRV 110 W/winch the ADF never knew it lost.
And if I cant do that then Im going to put either a detroit 2 stroke 93 series/deutz air cooled/same aircooled diesl in big red, maybe kermit depending on what SWMBO says yes to.

Hahaha! Well they say imitation is the greatest form of flattery...
What on earth do you call that? I tried thinking what you could call a Range Rover Couty Isuzu but whatever I came up with sounded like a Russian Sattelite... :p

Didn't Radar O'Rielly from Mash do that with a Jeep?
Send it home via mail one piece at a time?
