mental speedo

Hi, I have a 95 300tdi auto which has a speedo that likes to do between 50 &180kph when at idle this problems did disappear & has returned, at one stage it was happening while driving, any help welcome.

no prob's once i got off my back side, just happened to be the transducer wirering rubbing up against the handbrake drum.
