Back in the V8 County days (I think!) there was a moulded oval badge/emblem on the back of the county wagons that said "The Best 4 x 4 x far" does any one know where to find one of these? or was it something that someone had made up?

Me to
Perhaps the AULRO store could sell them?
Sorry to hijack the thread some what:
Someone artistic might also think of starting a shirt section on Zazzle
Earn Money (http://www.zazzle.com/mk/earn/associatetools)
where AULRO would earn 14% of purchases.
Back on topic now, I remember those stickers to (On the back of a S2a) and one would go great on the back of me RRC

So am I right, someone does all the hard work, Zazzle then gets to advertise and sell the product and the original artist only gets 14% of the profits?
Why pay some other site when the same could on here and AULRO gets 100% of the profits not 86%.
Thats like wining and dining a prospective other then paying a gigelo to perform the final act.

Hey Dobbo,
I don's disagree with you, but I think your view on the matter is a bit simplistic.
There is a difference between sales price which from what I have read is where the 14% comes from and the profit. The 14% will represent quite a large portion of the profit.
But its main advantage is the lack of outlay required by AULRO or any of its members. As to initially set up a store would cost a fair bit of money (several different sizes and styles of shirts) and the time till a return on the investment was seen, is uncertain and possibly excessively long.
Also new designs do not require old stock to be disposed of and they can be implemented in a few minutes by an artistic member of the community.
By all means if Dave wants to put shirts on Dave's Interesting Things (http://www.davesitshop.com/davesitshop/) I will support him and buy them. This was just an idea that I thought would be easy to implement and might provide an extra revenue stream for AULRO, with a minimal input from members.
One example can be seen LAVAStore: Home: Zazzle.com Gallery (http://www.zazzle.com/lavastore) which sells LAVA (LabVIEW Advanced Virtual Architects) Home (http://forums.lavag.org/home.html) branded shirts, mugs, etc... (and no GEEK jokes ya bastards)
But now back on topic "the best 4x4xFAR" stickers, anyone know where to get them?

Stickers and clothing runs have been organised through the forum in the past.
http://www.aulro.com/afvb/general-chat/57829-aulro-stickers.html
or the original sticker is available from a number of sources
here is a link to just one.
