I use Penrite (10/50 I think). It seems to start losing oil pressure at around the 5k mark, so that is when I change mine.

Penrite HPR 10 - 50 works good. Change every 5 -8000k's depending on mood.

Price is good too.

Cheers

George.

I now use Castrol GTX3 15W-40. This grade was recommended by my local mechanic, whom I trust, he took into account the 182,000klms on the car as well.
Very happy with it, but I dont know what my D2 was on before.

I run Penrite HPR10 in my 4.6 as recommended by Penrite. I will be adding some morey's on the next oil change to try and combat a noisy lifter. 5000k's max on the oil.

Oil's cheap, Engines are expensive:p

I looked around a lot last time I changed mine but ended up just using Castrol Magnatec 10w-40 again. I used to use Castrol RX Super as I got it free from work and the previous owner used that too.

I only change it once every 10000kms but I do top it up occaisionally due to the fact it leaks pretty badly. Mostly from one of the cooling lines to the radiator. Should replace it I suppose.
