Sad day,

Council has approved development of Berowra Waters carpark and boat ramp public facilities.

Local developer is paying for the development at no initial cost to council and in return gets to build a private parking area for his patrons using his marina.

We as the public will loose up to 20 car and trailer spots and minimse the boat preperation area.

Amazing how councils can sell our public land.

This is already hard enough to park at present.

Regards,

Dave

What you are complaining about, it will create much needed employment opportunities* in the area and the councilors grubby developer mate will forced make a motza on the mooring and slip fees.

I wonder who has to sleep with whom to get that proposal through.

And we will pay for the up keep of it. And security and fixing all the vandalism and graffiti.

Sounds like us tax payers will be forking out a bit for employment.

All this so the marina and restaurant will get more patrons = more money for developer.
