It can cause your stereo controls to cease to work as well. But if they are telling the dealer to replace you may as well let them.:angel:

So it's a Service Action now. It's quite a common replacement for various reasons (radio controls as above but also cruise control issues).

With 6 months warranty left I'll be getting this on the service list straight away.

I had this fault a few years back.
