Market place is your friend Cal. ;)

1994 Defender 200tdi (http://www.aulro.com/apc/showproduct.php/product/2085/cat/9)

This one is going for around $6,000 in Perth from a forum member.

It may not have rear seats in it but you can easily put them in as long as you get a mod plate for the increased number of seats (varies state to state).

Happy hunting!

Hey All!! Its good to see fellow Troopy Owners!! I just wanted to say hello. I bought my troopy about a year and a half ago with the intention of doing a lot of camping as I used to do in Canada. The fiancé and I had a baby and now I haven't got the chance to go camping at the moment. I am on the fence!! Do I sell? Or hold onto it until he gets bigger and can ride with dad???? I know lil Isaac will love it so half of me wants to hold onto it!!! Its a 2006 Landrover Defender Troopy TD5 110 with only 58,000km on it, full camo paint and runs like new!! I don't want to sell then regret it later!!! Any insights? Have any of you felt the same??? Thanks!!

Nice truck... :)

Why can't you go camping with a baby?

Have a word with Mr Ploppy on here.

If memory series me correctly, Ian, Sarah & little Ella went camping when the new-born brother was just a couple of weeks old!!!! Respect:)

If you've got a good 110, keep hold of it, stick a kiddie seat in it and use it as a normal car and hit the bush whenever you can. Start off in the caravan parks I mum's a bit concerned to start with.

Just my thoughts.

Why can't you go camping with a baby?No reason at all. Babies are much easier than teenagers!!!

Stilly55 very nice troopie! The td5 with the 2 door troop wagon body was order only in Oz so very rare here, but I understand your problem as the inward facing seats don't take baby capsules or seats. The problem is your going to be pushing poo uphill finding a defender wagon with such low k's and then will still need to fit a crab bar( look in good oil) . In Nsw at least the buyers would either be a single or couple with no kids looking to build a camper or a big family with kids all over 6(booster laws).
. Even the new puma has the 2 door 110 wagon options but is still basically order only.

Food for thought, but with yours having low k's & if you need the rear doors and some forward facing seats, how about removing the rear tub and putting a regular wagon back on it?

It's not that hard of a job, but you will need some space!

We fitted a middle seat and had the capsule in the front passenger seat. When #2 came along we had to get a station wagon though. Hopefully the 1990 200TDI 2 door is still out there (personal import, factory fitted twin tanks and hand throttle, spare on the bonnet).
