Hi
Which workshop manual is the best to buy?
I have no aversion to electronic forms.
Thanks

Hi Steve.
I believe the original Landrover publication referred to as "the green bible" is the best one, but I do not own this (yet) so I am only echoing what others on here have indicated.
If you are doing any more than service work (ie: a restoration or part thereof) then I would strongly recommend you get thyself a copy of the Haynes Series I/II/III Restoration Manual. I do own this one and I can highly recommend it.

The haynes ones aren;t bad, I use it in conjunction with the factory one. Actually I think I have one part of the factory one that is surplus to my needs somewhere. But only one part.

Factory manual - see previous post. Note that this CD also includes the parts book which is a valuable supplement to the workshop manual, as it has illustrations showing how things go together.
