Hi All,

After my battle with Antivirus XP 2008, I am left with no screensaver. I opened Control Panel/Display properties, and found that the Screensaver tab no longer exists!

Having had to turn off System Restore to get rid of the virus, I don't think I have any past restore points to access, and therefore can't use System Restore to fix the problem.

Is there any other way of repairing this?

Cheers,

Lionel

Regedit

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies\System]
"NoDispScrSavPage"=dword:00000000

or if that does not make sense look at hint 51 here Troubleshooting Windows XP, Tweaks and Fixes for Windows XP (http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm)

Yes, I actually found a similar site yesterday, and managed to fix it by editing the registry as suggested.

Thanks for your info.

Cheers,
