Lazy sunday afternoon, armed with my D80 and the antique tripod (salvaged from an industrial waste many years ago) decided to take some test shots and make a Panorama. I have not used Photoshop much before (good job I have a daughter that has) she helped, showing me layers and I figured out the rest.

I learnt that I need to make a leveling plate so it is easier to get the tripod level, I was thinking of a circular bubble mounted to an aluminium plate fitted so to get the base level then I can pan properly, and I need to make up an 'L' bracket so I can get the lens right over the pivot point.
It was a little grey today had to wait to get some light but I was more interested in the setup and level. My tripod has a 360 Deg. dial which helped in getting each shot.
