Auto Transmission and Transfer Box

I recently couldn't get the car into Hi ratio so I took it to a local "specialist". While that problem is now "fixed" (it goes in high with effort) there are now 3 additional problems/concerns:

1. There is a lot of road and engine noise coming from the gear lever areas when it was fine before, and,
2. When I put it in Hi and move from Neutral to drive the car moves quite a lot (like it's been jacked up!). Is this normal?? It's ok in Low.
3. The kickdown seems to be non-existant. Can this have been disconnected or more likely need some readjustment?

Appreciate any help with any of the questions above. I'll take it back for them to look at but typically I don't get my problems sorted at the garages over here.

I hope you get it sorted, it sounds like all sorts of dodgy stuff is going on over there!!:mad:

Maybe I'll get my passport and visa applications in now, and head on over as a troubleshooter....:)
