Hi all,

I used to have dos based generic cad for casual use but haven't used it for a few years....

Can anyone advise me on a useful basic & hopefully free program available for download

I need to do a few basic 3 view drawings and if it comes with a 3D capability then that would be great too

I've played with google sketchup for an hour or so, and maybe that's the way to go - but not what an ol' bloke like me is used to :)

any ideas appreciated

google sketchup is one that i've been looking at to get my boss drawing with cad. for a free and easy to use package I would say that is the way to go.

We use Graphisoft's Archicad here, but theyr liscencing is very strict with physical key's to activate teh software.

PM me your postal address and I will send you the QuickCad cd which you can download without restrictions. I want it back.
