how about a post about Disco colours?

D1 and D2.

I'll make the Thread sticky,, just add each OFFICIAL colour at first, (including LR paint code),, then add more to each "colour post".

obviously we are after COLOUR here,, not sunsets, not mud etc,,

single shot only but no limit on how many members,,

I'm not sure if I'm biased here but it seems to me that Discoveries came out in more attractive colors than any other car I can think of. I really like most of the colours.

With most other cars it seems that at least five colors in the range give me a migraine.

And, thanks to Slunnie, I now know that mine is Oxford Blue:

I need a new front passenger guard, probably from a wrecker, so it would be handy to know the colour. I don't know how this will go, as this colour is super rare.

Another Alveston red here. Bought some touch up paint on eBay for around $13 US delivered. The local Land Rover dealer wanted stacks more and had to order it in. The eBay paints came in less than a week and look to be the proper ones and came with clear coat and hardener.
Couldn't stop singing Galveston for about a week afterwards.

I've added a note to the chart on this. It was only on the initial production of UK release Millennium Edition D2's. It's very unlikely that you'd see this in AUS, and I'd guess it is even more rare than Kent Green.

Are you sure about this? Land Rover didn't use Rimini Red on any model prior to 2004, and the D2 shown is 2002 or earlier.

I guess it could have been repainted at some stage, but there is no evidence Rimini Red was every offered on a D2 from the factory.
