Hi, i have a 2000 D2 V8 manual, the trouble is,
1. first thing in the morning when i go to drive the clutch pedal is very close to the floor and ingauges strait away and as the car warms up the pedal raises to it's normal position - is this normal.
2. The last couple of days when the car is cold, it dosent want to change gear or wont go into a gear, it is like it is jamed, when the car warms up the changes gears just fine, no crunch or grind. Is there a clutch fluid resorwar for the clutch, i have looked and found nothing.

Thanks for your help,
Jason.

Should be drivers side on the firewall with the brake booster.

You may have a leaking slave cylinder, that's located on the gearbox bell housing passenger side of the car.

You'll find that the clutch fluid is fed from the brake master cylinder reservoir.

As Baz said, it's possibly the slave cylinder leaking. Peel back the rubber boot if it's not obviously leaking. Wet = leak.

I have checked to gearbox and there appears to be no leaks, but there is some clear fluid comming out of the transfer box but i cant tell from where. The brake fluid is full so not leaking from there.
It is going to anoy me now...
