It says SE7 on the title, but to my (untrained) eye it loos like an ES. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
Asking price is high (even for an ES) but I could maybe strke a decent deal if the dealer doesn't know its an ES.
I thought the defining feature of the ES was the electric seats and H-K speakers, which I think this one has, no?

Judging by the wood trim, it's an ES.
It also has front fog lights & a subwoofer so ES it is.
Double check the VIN on the car - it doesn't look right.
Make sure it's an Australian delivered car (I'm sure it will be).

I would be questioning why they are selling an Australian car on the UK eBay website?:o
To me, it looks like an ES, but the usual wide shot of the dash taken from the back seat looks a bit sus to me...:nazilock:

Oh sorry thats just me, for some reason I can't get ebay to change to sending me stuff from their AU website, now that I have moved here.

Its an ES, it has armrest and lece seats, rear air (loc of passenger seat) 18" rims (same pattern as mates ES) and dome on radio passenger side with 3-way splits in the front.
Gray and silver not as nice as the green and brown, but I am pretty sure it is an ES

It certainly looks like an ES. However, it maybe an optioned SE7
The fact that is has leather seats in a SE7 is not unusual.
My SE7 D1, has leather seats fitted :D

true, a lot of SE7's came with the leather chairs, but not many had the electric controls and armrests.

It's for sale by a dealer in Sth Melbourne
"Bernie Smith Cars to the Stars" :)
I reckon it's an ES - if you can look at the Owner's Handbook should have it written in the front

VIN looks to be a misread/ typo, should be 'TG' not 'TE'. Possibly someone read it out to the person writing it down?
Nice looking vehicle, but will sustain serious panel damage etc the first time it sees a decent track:twisted:

Very definately the ES, just ask me,... I got one. Mines got a sunroof :p but no side steps :(
It'll have a six stacker under the drivers seat too and independant stereo controls for the 6th/7th rear seat passengers
Other than the service stuff, check both sets of key remotes work, check the rear a/c function and also that the SLS pumps up the rear suspension in around 20 secs.
Nice looking car, at the high end of the price range but ok as long as its 100%.
Good luck

Thanks for all the help.
I have noticed that dealers usually say ES in their adds, even though it is blindingly obvious that it isn't one. Looks like the tables are turned on this one.
But now I'm having second thoughts about the whole thing (see my new thread). I think that TD5 I almsot bought last week has given me a reality check (see http://www.aulro.com/afvb/discovery/61236-help-buying-99-d2-td5-but-spat-out-coolant-test-drive.html)
