This is my first project and i am pretty dodgy so no complaints.
First thing I did was to get a cradle from ARB. It was $60 and after some bashing went in fine with relocation of the horn and some other stuff, don't know what it does but that's ther D2 for Ya! Then Old mate installed the LPG vaporizer onto the Heat Shield too which makes things fun! .

I ran 6mm cable from the Traxide unit (Not shown) through the fuse and onto Battery. Then I made up a few High tension cables, out of 11mm marine grade battery lead, one for the earth and one to go to cargo area. It was expensive but I wanted minimum power drain to the rear of the car where Fuse box was going.

While I was there I grabbed a Jaycar Volt meter. It's fused too but reading incorrectly by about a half a volt at the mo but so is the traxide so i think i will need to clean the terminal on the main Batt.

This is the bit I am kind of proud of, I made a special plate to pass the high tension lead through the chasis. It's an ali plate that I screwed onto the body, then I drilled a 15mm hiole through it and the body. Then I took the plate off, and cut some tyre sidewall to fit but drilled a 10mm hole on the rubber, so when i passed the cable through it was held very firmly in place against the rubber with no chance of rubbing or touching the body work.

Happy with that.
The main cable goes in behind the little storage box in the Cargo, and to a Whitworths fuse box.

Then it just sends power to the Flush mounted outlets via 15 amp twin core and the Narva plug for the Waeco. I am going to have to rerun the power to the Weaco, I think I will use 25 am cable.

I also have a couple of Whitworths map lights, which i think are really good on the flexible necks. One on the cargo barrier that runs off the interior light. DODGY, but so far OK. And one that runs off the heated seats permanent power for when the Navy wants to look at maps or find that ABBA CD I am always hiding. .

Any comments or advice welcome. Still a work in progress but on the right track i reckon.
