Well brought the new toy home tonight :clap2:

Looks like a weekend of bolting bits back on from the old one... and probably chipping it in the next couple of weeks.

Going to miss my old V8 .... but I think this should take away the pain:

Is there any D2's in AUS that actually dont have one fitted LOL !!, It mus be easy to get a second hand factory bumper over there !!!

Shame those ARB's are just so expensive over here (uk)

Hi Tombie, to tell you the truth I don't yet know.

I am really starting my research now, my mechanic has his missus chipped and highly recommended it... but I am yet to discuss with him what chip he would suggest. I really trust him as he has always done the right thing with my previous care.. so interested in his thoughts...but figured i better get educated before i have those discussions.

I figured I would do some serious research here before going there.

and Yes.. you are already already on my short list :p.

Cheers, Mark

OUCH! over AUD$2100 :o:o:o

Back in May I was quoted $1400 in Darwin so they would be a bit cheaper in the southern capitals.

That said, you guys get a lot of other stuff a lot cheaper than over here. Especially if you have a defender...doesnt appear to be as much stuff for D2s. Maybe people dont see them as offroad beasts over there?

To be fair your probably right, the D2 is only just really becoming an offroad toy, most spend their lives in the Urban Jungle.

The stuff available for the D2 is getting more readily available now, hence I keep spending money lol. Still like the price of ARB bumpers over there, I would have one in a shot !!!
