I have two Nikon F90X bodies ( and an FA) that I often think about getting rid of and replacing with a digital SLR (I'm slow to catch on, I know). Are they actually worth anything or is there no-one on this planet anymore that has the slightest interest in film photography?

i couldn'r say for sure but what i do know is they dont go for much on ebay i have a feeling the only slr's that sell are the ones going with a fairly good lens attached to them

Film SLR bodies are worth nothing these days, as dullbird said if the lenses are still compatible with current digital bodies then you may get something for them - going by ebay even top spec bodies are going for less than $50 .
I sold my Canon film body for $40 and kept the lenses to use on my new digital body.

Thanks. It's as I suspected. I'd be keeping the lenses anyway.

Hi Wally,
I'm still on film for my personal photos, (work ones I use a d80). The FA is a bit of a classic, the F90 not as popular. I'd be interested in making you an offer if it weren't for the 2 F3s and the F90 which I already have plus I need to send the leica in for a service plus rebuild the front diff plus the lime on the paddocks etc. it never ends.
Anyway I'd imagine that the FA may be worthwhile for you to attempt to sell.
Cheers

Yeah, I have a Pentax SF7, hardley used. Not really worth anything these days. May end up giving it to the high school for their photographic courses.
On the upside my wife has bought me a Canon EOS 1000D with two lenses for Fathers Day / Birthday. Can t wait till next Sunday.
