Spotted the crew who went to Crystalvale this weekend, you all looked fantastic cruising down the hill in the second paddock in convoy, great sight. I was on my way out but decided that one more go through a bog before I left was in order, still have not got over the hand winching:angel:, always the way.

Was there again with my brother in law and family today. come across 2 cars, 1 Mitsubishi and a Subaru,I stopped as they were recovering out of a bog they had no chance of getting through, Snatch off the tow balls and they were giving it stick to. They came up and said hi and as polity as i could I mentioned the snapping tow ball scenario. "we've been doing this all day, 7th recovery so far". they down another beer, off the recovery vehicle goes again, esky falls out of open back door, car comes out of bog and ready for the next attempt.all of there group cheer.(road tires and full pressure)
My brother in law and I leave not wanting to witness the next attempt.

Back to the good point, best sight is a convoy of land rovers in the dirt:D

Must of been the Sunday (today), I was there yesterday and we had the place to ourselves.

Those dropkicks you ran into, I think I would have bolted too with there careless attitude to recovery. Boofheads like that give 4WDers a bad name in the first place :mad:

Harry, I think I saw you throwing dirt bombs out the back of your rig, (Green disco/aqua), I think this was the color of the first rig going up the hill??.in the 2nd paddock.Only seen your disco in shots on the forum
I wanted to come over and say g/day but didn't want to intrude.
When the first rig was going up, the last rig had not set of down the gully, it was a very impressive look, should have taken a shot.

Yours Mark

educating the devotees in the gentle art on how not to approach a hill.
