Anybody know where I can source a reasonably priced microphone to fit my Codan 8528?
Do I have to use a Jenal SC-2 Selcall Microphone or are there other options?

The 8528 is supposed to be able to do telcall. Last mic I bought was from Karera Communications in Hornsby NSW, www.karera.com (http://www.aulro.com/afvb/communications-car-audio-electronics/www.karera.com) but not an 8528 one.

Telcall instructions for Codan 8528

Activation
Push down and hold “3”
Turn set “On”
Toggle on/ off with “Channel Up & down” buttons to show On
“Enter”

Enter Telcall number

Push “Call” then “Recall” then “Display”
Dial in full phone number using “0 to 9” then “Enter”
“T” is displayed, enter “0” to “99” for memory.

To make Telcall

“Call” enter base selcall number
“Recall” enter memory number “0” to “99” to “T’
When selcall number plus Telcall phone number is displayed push “Call”

To erase a Telcall number

Push “Call” then “Recall” then “Display” then “Enter”
Enter “T” number.

To send disconnect signal

Push “Call” then “Enter” then “Display” then “Display” then “Call”
