a few people have mentioned that I should write a book.......

While Im flattered I dont think My life is that great or my musings all that good. Most of my literary style is the lifting of a few authors that I like and matching one of their techniques with a simple story... add a dash of truth stretch, omit a name and fling in some fancy words and sprinkle liberally with insults an lo, one of my typical posts emerges to the ether.

but heres the kicker...

one of my things in life is helping others and where I can trying to make their vista just that little bit brighter (these days thats easy, I just lean over and crank up the monitors settings)

So given that I have a captive audience on the forum who'd like me to go it and how...

If it gets popular enough I might even go it to print one day.....

and yes I just realised... doing it here would be akin to blogging... so IF I go this you get to witness a rare for me, 2 firsts at once.....

would you be prepared to be my second greatest critic?

Dave , my suggestion is Go for it , but whilst I think you may have had inspirations from other authors , i also suggest that may be perhaps you should develop your own style.:)

If you have thought about it and think you can do it....then why think about it any longer?! Writing a book would be an excellent achievement...just do it! :)

Yeah - she'd be a REAL Land Rover version.

One for the main workshop manual and one for the electrical supplement :D:D:D

You could even do the export version as well :angel:

:D definitely YES

as I've said before ... perhaps in cartoon form....:D:D

I can just picture you having those rice-burners (or was it rice-boys?) coming to grief in every second chapter :D

Yup,

Hurry up..... and where do I buy it.

You do not strike me as the kind of person that does things badly so you will do well. Perhaps though remember even something as great as a Landrover has more than one version. You will have plenty of time to tweek it as you go.

The thing is to do it.

P.S.
I think you should start spelling Landrover not Land Rover. Ok I'll shut up now. :D

So, ya done yet.....?

I was under the impression it was Land Rover as the guys originally designed and built a car for the fields. A Land Rover.

IVe got some stuff waiting in the wings but atm I'm having insomnia and sleep deprevation issues.

I get about halfway through what I want to write up and then it....

never mind, After I get a couple of good nights sleep

remind me about anzac day, the speeding rice boy and the speed trap and the idiot parking inspector at show day saved by alex's sleeping.

Damn mods, they deleted the SPAM girl - kinda makes my previous post look a little silly:D

But yes Dave looking forward to your next installment. Maybe you can make a Video of the Cape Trip for us all :)
