Type of oil Auto

Could someone tell me what type of oil goes in the auto gearbox on a 2002 petrol v6 freelander. Next door wants to know. I had a google but got nowhere.

Automatic Gearbox – JATCO
Use Texaco N402 fluid or equivalent for refill or topping-up.

Refill: 4.0 litres (7 imp. pts)
From dry" 8.5 litres (15 imp. pts)

Not sure what the readily available equivalents are, I paid 'a man' to change mine as it is a pain by the look of it.
