as you can see,, Creative and I go way back---

Just had a second front speaker drop out,, (on-board sound works on all 5):mad:
have removed the X-FI card and de-installed EVERY single creative file I can find,, and there are a few----:p

The question is--
is it worth getting a Professional to test it?
and what sort of QUOTE would YOU give when asked?

I share your pain, though I don't have Creative. I spent a couple of hours over the weekend fiddling with SoundMax after updating drivers on my WinXP media pc to get DTS over S/PDIF working properly.

I find persistent Googling eventually leads to a solution.
