The new Billie Piper soapy starts tonight, 10-30 on nine.
Diary of a call girl.
Understand she runs around a bit with her gear off. Wow.
Looking forward to it as I just love that girl and skin is me favourite dress material, eh.
Dont know about the story line, may have to mute the sound and just
watch Rose, oops, Billie.

Unfortunately I made a new PVR and it makes it too easy to record things. The problem is you've then got to get the time to watch them.
I just opened another tab in the browser, opened the program guide, clicked on "record any time on channel 9" and hit update. I've got the series now. Didn't even have to get out of the chair and find the remote :) Will I watch it though?

Pretty obvious it wasn't really secret.....or it wouldn't be plastered all over the net.....;)
Naked women quite often involve naked men :twisted::twisted:
but if they need a call girl they're probably all fat, old and ugly :-(
probably right NM:) ... I was just thinking that there had been a thread "this is for the girls' or suchlike that I hadn't bothered looking at myself:angel:

I watched the first ten minutes and thought ' what crap ', so I turned
it back over to Tony Jones.
I must confess that I dont watch shows on the three commercial, moronic
program channels.
If it wasn't going to be a quality BBC show on the ABC, I should have known better.
I saw Billie being interviewed by Parky and they talked about the show
and were both enthusiastic about it. I guess Parky was looking at her
undressed, which is probably what influenced me.
DOH, silly me, eh.
PS' Doctor Who, being an historical documentary of high quality on the ABC, is more to my liking.

Sounds like I didn't miss much then.
I watched Rush, and thought that was a bit bollocky as well. And they couldn't even give the show an original name:o Anyone who saw the real "Rush" would know what I mean.

was in B&W I think... but great stuff for those of us who live in or enjoy old gold mining areas:)

And they couldn't even give the show an original name:o Anyone who saw the real "Rush" would know what I mean.I enjoyed Rush, thought it was edgy, good performances and story, humour, action, a good effort for an Aussie show. Some of the actors were in Underbelly hence why I thought woud check it out, as Underbelly was excellent.

Give me a good dose of Channel 10 progamming and Im set to go :D. Don't think one can call commercial programming moronic ( some for sure), I mean...that would make the viewer a moron..... and whilst the missus might think I am sometimes....I would like to think that I am not...Also the ABC is owned by the Government for a reason :p......each to their own. Looking forward to my dose of Australian Idol and SO You think you can dance tonight ,

On the rare occations I watch TV my preference is the government run tv stations, guess that means I'm not a moron, though some may think otherwise. Im thinking I've been taken out of context...perhaps. That is my fault, one thing I learnt when doing my degree was it is the responsibility of the communicator to ensure the message is received loud and clear. Also maybe I am just paranoid :D.
There was this message earlier
I must confess that I dont watch shows on the three commercial, moronic

one can call commercial programming moronic ( some for sure), I mean...that would make the viewer a moron the bolded part meaning...for sure some commercial programming is moronic. But what I may call moronic in someone else's eyes is entertainment.
Also maybe I was a bit harsh on good ol Aunty, if your old and hang out for the good ol days of listening in to the wireless, I can see the potential joy of tuning into the ABC :p. To be fair though, I do like Grumpy Old Men and............well anything decent went to the commercial stations :D,

Stevo,
I take it that you dont miss Blue Hills Then ?
My gripe about the commercial channels is the type of programs shown.
Its nearly all american ( shoot em up bang bang, ten foot tall americans
with funny marine sic, hair cuts ). Or a copy of this low brow slop using Australian accents.
On Australian TV, the sillier a program is and able to be more understood by the masses, the more it rates, which is what counts.
As for these game shows, dont start me. A while back they were showing
shorts for a thing called, gladiator. My Gawd, who in their right mind
would willingly allow their brain to be battered by such stuff.
I also saw the shorts of a thing called, underbelly. Who the hell cares about the goings on of some fat Victorian criminal type Oafs, who one
wouldn't normally give the time of day too. Their not hero's nor awe
inspiring people, to my mind. Not the least bit interesting.
Do I need to watch impossible car chases and prangs and lots of explosions to be entertained. Do I give a hoot about ratings.
If you look at the shows that rate the highest, you will find that most
are the simple, easily understood, comic book style, program using actors.
Dick Tracy, Batman stuff. Pulp fiction.
No, I prefer to be entertained by well written, well crafted, well directed.
well acted, programs, with BELIEVABLE PEOPLE.
This is why I prefer the ABC and SBS.
British and Foreign films that dont have creatures like sylvester stallone
and those other little american hero type dickheads.
I did like Arnie tho, because he hammed it up and it was all tongue in
cheek and nonsence and a bit of fun.
I am a fan of Miss Marple and Poirot, and find Amanda Redman very sexy.
Cheers:D

Cheers:D Hey mate, Blue Hills?? Don't know that show. Horses for courses, I like many of the American shows, well acted, good scripting, in many cases intelligent drama...or just good escapism. Underbelly I thought was brilliant, one of the best made Australian shows as it was about a part of Australia, like it or not. End of the day as long as one enjoys what they watch, thats the main thing......like anything...don't like it....change the channel. Also can be an age thing, depends on what you have grown up with ie Miss Marple:confused:, Poirot:confused:...Amanda Redman:confused:. And if I was to say Denozo, Goren and Eames, Hank Moody, House, Sam and Dean, you'd be going  as well :D. Thank god for choice,

The trouble with those yank cop shows which seem to spawn like cane toads - CSI everywhere for example is that they are just a formula with dialouge thrown in. Seen one seen em all.
Good qulaity shows like The Man Show and Bloke's World - now that's television

G,day Steve.
Yes thank Gawd for choice.
I dont think its an age thing, as I didn,t watch the type of shows when I was younger that I dont watch now.
I would sit in front of the tv enthralled watching The Summer Science
School with Professor Harry Messel, rather than watch Homiside or Cop
Shop, which I disliked.
Denoso, now there you go. I will watch NCIS, once or twice a year for
my reality check.
Its a great send up of all the other rubbish. They ham it up and in the real
world of Policing would be unemployable.
Denoso is my favourite because he is so deliberately silly.
I went to the old Stadium and saw all the old artists like Bill Hayley, Nat
King Cole, Josephine Baker and the rest. We even came down from the back of Bourke to see the Beatles, cant remember where tho.
I would only buy classical music.
We have a wireless in the house somewhere, dunno if it works but.
The radio's in my cars have never been turned on. I do watch a couple
hours of various news programs each evening.
I watch all of the doco's to do with history and geography.
I liken my tv entertainment to books. I will always read Alexander
Solzhenitsyn but never Carter Brown.
My choice.

I'm still at work, even though I work from home and normally dont finish till 6.30/7 at night, so to be able to kick back, switch off and watch some tv works for me. Weekends is when we do all that kinda stuff.

Couldnt go hunting bunnies for sometime after reading that..........though it didnt last forever . Best knock from work soon, I can hear my plasma calling me :),

If you have the luxury of working from home, you could possibly make the time, have a lunch break when the kids get home. Besides all the money in the world wont bring back the years you miss out on playing with them. One has to make the time else you become one with the plasma. Sleep is overated, clear out a room for indoor soccer, mountains are there 24/7 and fish feed at night. I am far from healthy, but I am getting there and the healthier I get the happier myself and my kids get. I got rid of Foxtel for this reason, tele time is wasted time.
