Isuzu Land Rover stickers

I've been looking into getting some stickers printed. A couple of members on here have expressed some interest in them, so I thought I'd ask if anyone else would like some. At the moment I would just like expressions of interest to get an idea how many it's worth getting printed.
I am NOT looking at making any sort of profit out of this. I would be happy just to cover my costs if it's worth going ahead with.
From the quotes I've received they would probably cost between $1 and $2 each, but I will have to confirm a final price.
They will be glossy 120mm x 65mm and professionally printed and cut out. One place I talked to guaranteed they wont fade for 3 to 5 years.
I've come up with 3 different versions to cover differing engine setups.
Let me know what you think of the designs below.

Also, a question, or actually several.

1. Size?

2. Colour? - when the 110 was produced with the Isuzu, the Landrover emblem was silver on black

3. Material? Plastic, aluminium foil, ?

4. To go on the outside paintwork, or to go on the inside of a window?

In my view the preferred sticker would be one that exactly matches (for the Landrover logo) the original sticker on the back of the County.

Well there seems to be a lot of interest in the stickers. I've added the word 'Diesel' to 2 of them (see the first post).

Numbers requested so far are between 20 and 30 of each of the 3 designs. I'll see if I can get a quote tomorrow for say, 50 of each one.
I'll see what I can do about a '3.9 Tdi' version, but can't promise anything if it's a hassle to do a smaller run of them.

Just updating the designs which I've either altered or added using everyone's comments as a guide.
I spoke to the printer today. I should be able to include all variants of the sticker. It will cost a little more, maybe $20, for them to spend more time programming their machine, but it doesn't seem to be a big deal.

As for the size........I tried a couple of samples on my car and 120mm looks ok, but I'm considering making them 140mm, big enough, but small enough to still be reasonably subtle and a bit easier to read the bottom text. Maybe the black and silver one could be 180mm (could cost a little more) as JD suggested some people might like to be closer in style and size to the original decal on the back of 110's.


I'll keep an eye on this thread for say, the next week, then that should be a good indication of numbers required. After talking to the printer, I'm confident that they will come in at under $2 each. The final price will be confirmed on here before taking firm orders.

I just had some stainless steel machinery tags done up for work. With a quantity of 200 the price was around $10 each, setup and freight was around $150.
Aluminium would be cheaper, but still more than half the price.

I'd really like a new sticker to replace the large Land-Rover one on the left rear, preferably foil like the original or aluminium with "Isuzu 3.9 turbo intercooled" in black and silver. I'd like 6 of the silver/black - it would be great if they could be the same width as the original LR sticker (which is 185mm across on my car, although the oval would always be smaller on these new stickers as the Isuzu wording is the widest part), so width wise, I'm happy with whatever you produce.

Could I also have 6 of the "3.9 Litre Turbo Diesel" - to cover my future upgrades!

I'm posting this again as it was lost when the site went down. The silver on black is the best one yet. I was hoping you could have some silver on black made up with 3.9 tdi intercooled to help start off the numbers I'll take 10 maybe some others on here will help out and order more.

If you can't get the numbers for this request I'll stay with my first order for six of the 3.9 turbo intercooled. Like you have on your truck, It's very nice, but not my favorite

I've spent a lot more time on this sticker project than I intended, but I think it will be worth it.
I've made a few minor changes..............

After printing some samples and sticking them on my County, I've decided 140mm is the better size for the colored stickers.

The black stickers are now 183mm wide to match the size of the original decal on the back panel and the text is metalic. (These look pretty good....if I do say so myself :D)

I'm guessing you guys who specifically requested ' 3.9 Tdi ' would like this to be a bit more prominent, so I increased the size of the bottom panel.

I got a quote from the printers today. They will be printed on good quality vinyl with a clear film over the top which is UV stable.
Cost will be $1.80 for the color stickers, and $2.50 for the Black ones.
This should cover my costs, including postage. Like I said, I'm not doing this for profit. Consider it my contribution to those who really appreciate what they have under their bonnet.

I will continue to take 'unofficial' orders through this thread untill the end of this week. I will then advise, via PM, details of order confirmation, payment methods and postage details.

Well this sticker project has blown way out of proportion, so why not make even more work for myself and add another sticker to the list ( I had a couple of hours to spare today, so I couldn't help myself :D)

Anyway, this one is to replace the decal on top of the front grill. It's a couple of mm bigger than the original, so it should go straight over the top if the original proves difficult to remove. If there is enough interest, this one will cost $2.50 ea

I thought I'd better make it clear that the prices for the stickers will include postage, as postage will only be a small part of the cost ( unless you live in some far away country that I've never heard of :D )

So, it's a flat rate of $1.80 for the coloured ones and $2.50 for the black/silver ones no matter what quantity you order.

Well I picked up the stickers today, and they look great, except that the rear black/silver ones seem to have printed too dark for some reason. I only noticed this when I got home and unpacked them. I'll have to go and talk to the printer about it. He's been pretty good to deal with so far, so hopefully we'll sort it out, most likely on Monday. Sorry for the delay, but these things happen. Overall though, I'm happy with the designs and the quality of the material looks good.

OK, these are the actual finished stickers at last. The computer screen doesn't do them justice, they look much better in the flesh.

Before I go back to the printer I would appreciate your opinions on the rear stickers. As I said, they printed out darker for some reason, but after having looked at them over the weekend and sticking one on the car, they still look pretty good.

The following picture is a scan of one of the actual finished stickers. The text on it, as with the grill sticker is a metallic look and tends to look lighter on the computer screen.

Am I being too fussy ? As I said, they still look pretty good. If you are happy with this I can start the mailing process.

The Grille decal is a direct replacement, size wise, for the original 'Land Rover 110' decal.
