A mate of mine has a set of (5) alloys & tyres and nuts and locknuts off his 2006 Defender 110 wagon

He would like to know what sort of $ they are worth as he wants to upgrade to different offset rim and mud tyres .
The tyres and wheels have done 23000 ks in 2 years:eek:

The wheels are the boost type of rim and the tyres are general grabbers all factory from new

They are in vic

So what are they worth oh wise one,s;)

I saw his old Disco for sale the other day, did he sell it?

I recon he should be able to get a slab or 2 for them :p

You can buy new Boosts for $379 each.

Second hand with tyres he will only get what the highest bidder offers :p

Not from a dealer...

I managed to get one from TRS in July, second hand, as new, for a little less than that. Only one I could find at the time

I'd like to know where you can get them for that new:confused:

The Boost Alloy retails for around $350 - $380 each, including wheel nuts and centre cap.

I presume the tyres are the General Grabbers?

Secondhand the alloys are worth around $250 plus $100 for the tyre.

Set of five around $1500 - $1750 ... or as Mahn pointed out .. whatever the highest bidder is prepared to fork over. ;o)

I see they are Genuine Style and look the same, so they are an after market one, hence the cheaper price.

I'm sure I looked at his site in July and they either weren't listed or were listed as P.O.A.
