200 lt77 to a v8

i have a 93 200 tdi and was wondering if its posible if i can take the lt77and lt230 and fit it to my 85 v8 county

Anything is possible, lt77 is weakest box in land rover line up.
May wanna check ratios but for serious work try the lt95 or the lt85 santana box.

Piece of cake. You just need to swap the bell housing and input shaft over from a V8 gear box. You may need to swap the lay shaft as well, as when I did it to my gearbox, the V8 input shaft had one extra tooth, all the other gears were the same.
