anybody a member http://www.hfradioclub.com.au/welcome.htm

i had a chat to the president the other night and cruised around there website. i also asked a couple of questions and got some helpfull answers. one of their members does the weekend skeds from ipswich and is more than happy for me to sit in on one......means i have to sit in a landcruiser for an hour or so. they have 12 freqs. available and are competitively priced compared to vks. they also offer telcall....

would like to hear some feedback good/bad/otherwise

I just joined Reids Radio Data (VMS-469) for a whopping $33/year, and the membership pack seems to give you access to the HF Radio club frequencies too.

Yep. Here (http://www.reidsradiodata.com.au/) you go.

I would suggest ringing though, and speaking to Wayne, as the website is light on info.

I took the basic option, because that's all I wanted. However, they do a more expensive option which seems more like the VKS services, but until I've actually used it, I'm not in a position to compare.

The bonus if you contact Wayne Reid is that you'll be talking to a Range Rover owner and a fellow member of the LROC (Sydney Bch).
