Hi All,
I'm wondering whether anyone has any knowledge of how Mailwasher Pro loads the default e-mail program when you click the "Process Mail" button.
As an e-mail client my wife uses Incredimail, which she loves but I HATE . A few days ago an automatic update came through for it, and since then, Mailwasher is unable to load Incredimail from the "Process Mail" button. It just brings up an explorer window, which I' m sure means that it can't read the path.
The problem lies with Incredimail, I am sure, but I can get no sense at all from their e-mail support, who insist that the problem lies with Mailwasher
Can anyone tell me which registry entry(ies) Mailwasher Pro looks at to call the default e-mail program. (In the Mailwasher settings it is the "preconfigured e-mail client"). BTW, changing this setting to Outlook Express as a test makes Mailwasher work normally again!
I think the upgrade of Incredimail has changed something to do with this registry entry which Mailwasher looks at, and I would like to find it.
As a workaround I can set a path in Mailwasher manually (using the "specify a mail client command"), but I am naturally curious ;), and would like to work out what is going on!
Cheers,
Lionel
