HEEEEELLLLP: 110 defender army/navy/airforce pictures?

Hi there all, just looking to see if i can get as many photos of army , navy and airforce defender 110 and variants. perenties are relatively easy to get pics of - its the navy and airforce i am having trouble with. Please help.

youve seen a civvy 110 right... (same deal for the 130's)

picture that with a RAAF/NAVY/ADF plate

as for raaf perenties youve seen the army ones right?

the most obviously different ones were the salvation armys sally man 130's and the fire support vehicles which look pretty much exactly the same as the civillian firies 110's and 130's...

I'll see if I can spot you some of the ones that float around amberly but theres very little to set them apart.

If youv'e got time during the week, head down to the gates of your nearest navy/airforce base. Take an umbrella and foldup chair (and eskie with coldies of course) and sit in wait with a camera taking snaps of all who come and go.
Should be able to get a few good shots.
If that doesn't work, try the same thing around the west gate bridge or the house of parliament, some military spec vehicles are sure to come by at some time or another.
(I just thought about this suggestion again, and realized it would be kind of dangerous to sit around out the front of these kind of places all day. So make sure you take a weapon of some kind for protection. Leave a sketch of where you are going with your significant other that shows all the main roads leading to where you will be located so she/he/it will know how to get there in case of trouble)

Ok, have you looked at REMLR ? The Registry of Ex Military Land Rovers. Australia, New Zealand and elsewhere. (http://www.remlr.com)

Air force land rovers are the same as the army ones, bt with air force plates. the navy have a few white 130 dual cabs that are civy spec with navy plates. that's about it.

Got it from a Auction in South Australia. You will note that they have been de militarize the vehicle before they went to auction.
Mine has had the military night lights taken off, as well as the removal of 4 x ID plate holders, and the military centre console.

So if any of the readers have any of these items at a reasonable price I maybe interested. Attached are a couple of photos. Cheers.52713

Somewhat difficult to get but not impossible. Search eBay US for the front and rear lights. With the lights that sit above the headlights these show up too but can often be rusty. I wouldn't pay that much for them although they are new. You also need the brackets these go on, somewhat more difficult to get.

Also with this military stuff you either want it or you don't. Sometimes waiting can get you a good price but often you have to pay a fair price.
