Ok. its time to show off my latest project. Completed load carrier with foldable awning and fitted on my little D90
this is the complete look of the awning (un-folded), not tighten and the canvas looks not so nice

the folded and tied to the load carrier look. chosed white color (inner) so that when folded it won't look too ovious on the road.

the main pole slotted into canvas before been fitted onto the hinges.

the end pole screw into the foldable arms with a butterfly bolts. the support column made from a shower curtain bar with a 3/4 pvc pipe holder fitted. (note that poor quality of garvenizing)

Things to improve during this week end.
1) end cover to prevent accuulate of dust into the rolled up canvas.

2) make an ear at the middle of canvas to tie a rope for better water flow.

3) cut nylon rope to necesary length for tie down purpose
4) find a proper campsite and camp it over.
