All

I recently purchased a 1985 V8 county from my father, Nice straight vehicle but i have a rather large problem.
The vehicle when my father brought it came with a road worthy stating it had its orginal engine, however when getting the road worthy to change ownership it was found that the engine had been changed and the pervious roadworthy was dodgy . Turns out the engine now in vehicle is from a 74 Rangy.
Having taken the vehicle to Vicroads, they will not register it as the 74 rangy engine does not meet the pollution standards of the orginal 85 engine.
Question:
Does anyone have an old county engine or rangie from 83-84 with the pollution gear on it that they want to get rid of?, i am in need of the recirculation pipework that feeds fresh air into the heads.

cheers
Adrian

Why don't you use the famous firm of registration consultants, L.T.R. & N.O. Punch. you know what engine number the bureaucrats want to see, so show it to them.

Not getting off track, is that the only reason you can put a later, not earlier engine over??
