Hi people,
I've joined to help a Mate who's too busy working (he works for me!)
He just bought a 12/93 DiscoveryIt's a 4 cylinder diesel, with the code HRC 2281 on the engine.
It's done 345,000 kms, he paid $2K.
Whatis the engine?
He believes it needs a new set of injectors. Where is the best place in Brisbane to get them?
Thanks in advance,
Tim

Welcome to AULRO
It's a 200Tdi. Try ebay for parts :)

Hey Tim
Get him to call M R Automotive at Redcliffe on 07 3284 6688. They are very good and a lot of people on here recommend them. They will courier stuff out also.
Cheers Guy

Best Bet is to order them from England. Much, Much cheaper and will ship and arrive in 4-7days. Try Paddocks spares. usually ok...

I know a bloke down here that did a similar thing. Bought a 200tdi that they thought had a cracked head, and it just needed injectors. Iwould have grabbed it myself, but it was a 2 door and I had a little one on the way. I do love the 2 door disco though

Hey Tim
I just bought injectors for my TDI 3 weeks ago, I rang around and the best price I could get was from British Off Road up the Sunshine Coast QLD. They cost $175.00 each which was was around $80.00 each cheaper than everywhere else. They will post them out to you for a small cost. PH: 07 5445 1094

Good point. It's also worth considering using the ebay uk website. Miles cheaper than here for LR parts.
I bought an indicator/lights/horn stalk for my 93 Disco 200 Tdi from there. Guy in Adelaide wanted $139 plus postage for it and wouldn't budge on price bought two (one for spares) for less than half that in the UK on Friday. Paid Paypal, easy deal. :D

Honest to God, who could pass up a twin turbo 4.5 V8 producing 650 Nm of torque? Mmmmmmm, all that leather....
And it's only one Verado, but I do like it :D
Cheers,
Tim
