hi everyone
i have a 7 seater 2000 model ES with grey interior. I am looking to remove one of the rear seats and replace it with one of the factory storage boxes.

I am doing this because I generally have an Engel fridge in the back, i strap it around the passenger side rear seat which means the seat is useless most of the time, so why not put a handy storage box there instead. I will keep the drivers-side seat for occasional spare passengers..

Has anyone done this? any idea where i would get a storage box from? is it difficult? any experiences welcome...

Check that the storage bin actually fits in the gap left behind.

I took the jumps seats out of my Disco (1997 SE7) prior to the LPG conversion and had intended to put in the side storage bins in their place.

However, after removing the seats I got a storage bin from the Disco of the guy I was giving the seats too and found the bins to be a very different shape to that left after the seats were removed.

Hi Astormsau,
Have done this to 2 friends vehicles.
Purchased spares from Triumph-rover spares in Adelaide.
No problems at all as all of the holes are already there & all clips together easily.
Cheers;)
