new wheels and tyres what size???? HELP

hey guys,
i am 17 and just bought my first car a land rover defender 110 tdi-5 1995 model,
the guy who owned it before me put really small wheels and tyres on it, and i want to know what are the biggest size wheels ant tyres i can put on it.
thats right i want a monster truch hahaha

i'm guessing you have a 300tdi motor as its a 95 model

what tyre size is currently fitted?

standard is 235/85/16

You cant go MUCH bigger than 235x85 without doing things to the suspension. I know you can get 255x85s on a fresh set of standard springs & dampers but it'll probably rub.

Im guessing your 110 is a 300TDi (as its a 95 model), or has it had a TD5 transplant???
