Does anyone know where to get the Australian Army spec Bonnet brackets to attach the garden tools to? I had a set on my last defender and want a set for my current rig. I am after the current spec not the old flimzy series style.

Wow. I thought the series brackets were heavy duty. At least my 2a brackets are pretty solid.

The old ones are pretty strong, but the new ones are even harder to find, rocking horse poo would be easier to find I think!

Jump the fence of your nearest army base, there are normally a stack of landies standing around un-defended. :o Did you have the current spec on your old rig?
You must have a big garden if you need a car to drive there. :wasntme:

yeah I had the current ones on my old rig but they were fitted by land rover australia head office as the hardtop belonged to them for years first.

Did the limited edition TANAMI Defenders [circa 1994] have the pioneer tool brackets?

If so, do Land Rover still have them as a genuine part?

If so, How Much? What are the part numbers?

Contact BMI (British Motor Imports) in Sydney they can get / have some of them, but not the lot. They can email you a listing.
